ClaimNest does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on external servers. All information stays on your device.
All data you enter into ClaimNest, including item details, warranty dates, purchase prices, notes, and attached documents (photos and PDFs), is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework.
No data is sent to any server, cloud service, or third party. ClaimNest does not have a backend, user accounts, or remote database.
When you attach photos or PDF documents to an item, these files are stored in the app's local sandbox on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere.
Camera and photo library access is requested only when you choose to attach a document. The app does not access your photos in the background.
ClaimNest uses local notifications to remind you about warranty expirations and return deadlines. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve any remote push notification service.
Notification permission is only requested when contextually appropriate, such as when you set up a reminder.
ClaimNest includes an optional feature to fetch brand logos from a public CDN based on the brand name you enter. This is the only network request the app makes, and it can be disabled in Settings.
No personal data, item details, or identifiers are sent with this request. Only the brand name is used to locate a matching logo.
ClaimNest does not include any analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, advertising identifiers, or third-party analytics services. We do not track how you use the app.
ClaimNest does not integrate with any third-party services beyond the optional brand logo feature described above. There are no social logins, no sharing with advertisers, and no data brokers involved.
Since all data is stored locally, you have full control. You can delete individual items, documents, or the entire app at any time. Deleting the app removes all associated data permanently.
ClaimNest does not knowingly collect information from children. The app does not collect any personal information from any user, regardless of age.
If we make changes to this privacy policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Since ClaimNest does not collect data, changes are unlikely.
